Music. Music makes our world what it is. Music defines entire cultures, races, and creeds. Music should be a part of everybody's life just as it has been a part of mine. Yet half-way across the world in the impoverished regions of the Middle-East and Africa, there is no one to buy the instruments for them, and they have no money for lessons. For my Bar Mitzvah project, I've joined up with a charity called "Genesis At The Crossroads" to help give instruments to the poor and spread music to everyone. Recipients will get to take lessons at prestigious schools of music. . So many of us have instruments we've outgrown or no longer even play. We will be choosing a few instruments to feature in a documentary. This film, by Andrew Greenbaum, will highlight this instrument's story from your home across the Pacific. If you have an instrument you don't need, or you would like to contribute to buying a child an instrument, please, help a child who needs a little happiness in their lives.
